How to know if you are called to be a Prophet

There is a lot of confusion concerning the call into prophetic ministry. Many Christians are searching for confirmation.
To walk worthy of your calling, you must first have faith in God's call on your life..
Once you are sure, you can count the cost and decide whether to embrace the spiritual battle that lies ahead. This rule does have a few exceptions. Some pastors are too self-conscious to notice the gifts and callings of people around them. However, if you are called to prophetic ministry, rest certain that your call will be discerned in due season. You are not required to make an announcement, demonstrate your prophetic abilities, or otherwise attempt to inform others.
In His time, God will make everything clear. Waiting for Him to disclose your gifts in public ministry is, in reality, part of the process, the course of Holy Spirit instruction, teaching, and practical experience that you will learn about through the pages of this book of life (experiences). So, do you feel called to prophetic ministry? Here are two key elements to consider when answering this question.

First and foremost, you may have heard a prophetic message declaring your destiny. That could very well have been a real word, but take the time to double-check. I’ve witnessed prophetic utterances lead sincere believers on spiritual goose hunts in search of gifts and callings that Jesus never bestowed. It’s heartbreaking to see people cling to a false word that they believe is authentic while missing God’s true calling for their lives.

Second, perhaps you routinely witness revelatory gifts developing in your ministry, such as words of wisdom, words of knowledge, and discerning of spirits. That gives you a sense of your role in the Kingdom. It’s actually a better sign that you’ve been called to prophetic ministry than a visiting prophet’s statement at the altar. If you are called to be a prophet, you will feel compelled to root out, tear down, destroy, throw down, build, and plant. If you’re called to prophetic ministry, you’ll practice the revelatory gifts on a regular basis, not only on special occasions. You’ll feel compelled to walk in prophetic gifts on a frequent basis.

God reveals in order to redeem

The enemy you know is less persuasive than the enemy you don’t know. In most cases, God displays himself to us in dreams or in visions. So whenever God discloses it to you. He is warning you to take a step and to act upon what he revealed. One thing you should perceive is that your enemy is not your neighbor, sister, colleagues, etc. We only have one enemy, which is the devil. Satan is very manipulative and if you aren’t prayerful enough, you’ll end up falling in to his traps. The day you’ll understand, you’ll avoid despising them.

How to depend on Jesus

The things of this world cannot fill the empty space within us; only Christ can complete us. This embodies for us that we need Jesus more than anything else on this planet. God did not put us here to rely on ourselves, but to rely on him for everything. We can't survive without him, which is why the Bible cautions us not to rely on our own understanding, because our understanding can fail us and our hearts can lead us astray. Physically, we may appear to be capable of doing things on our own, but on the inside, we are slowly dying. I don’t know about you, but if you haven't yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, it’s not too late. The Bible encourages us in Jeremiah 33:3 that if we call on God, he will answer us and tell us things we don't know. God is waiting for your call today. He is waiting for you to come to him and ask him to show you the way. Here is a short prayer to seek God: Heavenly Father, please forgive me for all of my transgressions against

How do we allow our past to not define us

Even if you don't have everything together, rest certain that God sees you as his priceless possession. Your past does not define who you are today. In actuality, from a spiritual viewpoint, who you are today is not determined by your past. It might affect your thoughts, but it doesn't make you who you are. God proclaims our true identity: that we are made in His likeness and in His image, reflecting both the male and female facets of God (according to Genesis 1:26-27).
