Morning devotional (Day 5)

In your storm, Jesus is with you, and he will hold your hand as you walk through it together! The only thing he asks of you is that you trust and believe in him. Faith is knowing that God will do something rather than believing that God can. Remember, nothing occurs to you or comes your way until your father gives his approval! God has a plan and a reason for everything we go through, even if we don't always understand why. Remember that his ideas are greater than ours, and his ways are more than ours.

So we must rely on him to carry us through the storm! The Lord desires that we enjoy peace in all circumstances. Now, peace does not imply being in the midst of these things while remaining peaceful in your heart. If we have faith in Christ, we will not be persuaded by our circumstances. True happiness is based on a person, not on what is happening on around us.

You can be sitting there wondering how you're going to get by. You have all you need if you have Jesus in your life! He will pave a way for you, grasp your hand, and save you from drowning. Don't give up hope, you're going to make it.

God will protect and provide for you today, tomorrow, and forever! Then we are to be Jesus' hands and feet, turning around and using our blessings to bless people in need.

Today’s prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you that I have inherited a complete, abundant, and eternal life because of your merit. Install faith in me so that I can receive all of the blessings you have planned for me. Today, I ask for a particular favour in your name. Grant my prayer and fix my gaze on you, if it is your holy will, so that I may honour and proclaim your name. Assist me in trusting in the unseen. Remind me of your might, that you are all around me and fighting for me. Please do me a favour and grant me a breakthrough in my life. You are the ages' King, immortal, unseen, and the only God. Forever and ever, honour and glory be yours. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

God reveals in order to redeem

The enemy you know is less persuasive than the enemy you don’t know. In most cases, God displays himself to us in dreams or in visions. So whenever God discloses it to you. He is warning you to take a step and to act upon what he revealed. One thing you should perceive is that your enemy is not your neighbor, sister, colleagues, etc. We only have one enemy, which is the devil. Satan is very manipulative and if you aren’t prayerful enough, you’ll end up falling in to his traps. The day you’ll understand, you’ll avoid despising them.

How to depend on Jesus

The things of this world cannot fill the empty space within us; only Christ can complete us. This embodies for us that we need Jesus more than anything else on this planet. God did not put us here to rely on ourselves, but to rely on him for everything. We can't survive without him, which is why the Bible cautions us not to rely on our own understanding, because our understanding can fail us and our hearts can lead us astray. Physically, we may appear to be capable of doing things on our own, but on the inside, we are slowly dying. I don’t know about you, but if you haven't yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, it’s not too late. The Bible encourages us in Jeremiah 33:3 that if we call on God, he will answer us and tell us things we don't know. God is waiting for your call today. He is waiting for you to come to him and ask him to show you the way. Here is a short prayer to seek God: Heavenly Father, please forgive me for all of my transgressions against

How do we allow our past to not define us

Even if you don't have everything together, rest certain that God sees you as his priceless possession. Your past does not define who you are today. In actuality, from a spiritual viewpoint, who you are today is not determined by your past. It might affect your thoughts, but it doesn't make you who you are. God proclaims our true identity: that we are made in His likeness and in His image, reflecting both the male and female facets of God (according to Genesis 1:26-27).
