Morning devotional (Day 6)

Have you ever experienced an overwhelming combination of emotions, such as tears of gratitude and joy, all at the same time? I came across an excellent definition of joy. “The feeling of guffawing on the inside is joy.” And what a wonderful sensation it gives me on the inside! Take a moment right now to thank God for all of your generosity. When God blesses you, it brings him joy as well.

There’s someone out there right now who desires to hear this. Life can be so painful at times that you can’t even find the words to pray.

I perceive what you’re passing through because I’ve been there. It’s at times like these that God listens to your tears as if they were a prayer. God, according to the Bible, collects every tear we shed in his bottle. Every hair on our heads has been counted by him. We serve a tremendous, tenderness, and caring God! This kind of suffering and misery is something Jesus is familiar with.

I pray that if this reflects you right now, God will console you, establish you, and give you the peace that only he can give. God is always with you and guarantees that he will never abandon you. Recall that while mourning may last all night, joy takes place in the morning.

Your morning prayer:

Greetings, Father

I praise you for waking me up this dawn, another day of existence. You’ve offered me another sunrise to keep up with.

Thank you, Lord God, for the tremendous melodies of nature and the cool breeze that caresses the trees, causing the birds to sing sweet melodies. Lord, you are an excellent Father who is always full of grace and mercy. Father, thank you for allowing me to spend another splendid day in your kingdom.

Thank you for granting us with the gift of family and friends. One of the most precious things I can never tire of is holding them in my heart. Father, bless everyone because they deserve all the good things you’ve done for me. Please accept my apologies if I make a mistake presently. I also appreciate you always being the voice of reason in my head when it comes to making decisions. Amen.

God reveals in order to redeem

The enemy you know is less persuasive than the enemy you don’t know. In most cases, God displays himself to us in dreams or in visions. So whenever God discloses it to you. He is warning you to take a step and to act upon what he revealed. One thing you should perceive is that your enemy is not your neighbor, sister, colleagues, etc. We only have one enemy, which is the devil. Satan is very manipulative and if you aren’t prayerful enough, you’ll end up falling in to his traps. The day you’ll understand, you’ll avoid despising them.

How to depend on Jesus

The things of this world cannot fill the empty space within us; only Christ can complete us. This embodies for us that we need Jesus more than anything else on this planet. God did not put us here to rely on ourselves, but to rely on him for everything. We can't survive without him, which is why the Bible cautions us not to rely on our own understanding, because our understanding can fail us and our hearts can lead us astray. Physically, we may appear to be capable of doing things on our own, but on the inside, we are slowly dying. I don’t know about you, but if you haven't yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, it’s not too late. The Bible encourages us in Jeremiah 33:3 that if we call on God, he will answer us and tell us things we don't know. God is waiting for your call today. He is waiting for you to come to him and ask him to show you the way. Here is a short prayer to seek God: Heavenly Father, please forgive me for all of my transgressions against

How do we allow our past to not define us

Even if you don't have everything together, rest certain that God sees you as his priceless possession. Your past does not define who you are today. In actuality, from a spiritual viewpoint, who you are today is not determined by your past. It might affect your thoughts, but it doesn't make you who you are. God proclaims our true identity: that we are made in His likeness and in His image, reflecting both the male and female facets of God (according to Genesis 1:26-27).
