There are times in life when we feel fear and doubt, but when we look to our Heavenly Father, he makes us courageous. The Bible encourages us in Joshua 1:9 to be strong and courageous; not to be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord our God is with us wherever we go. So after Moses' death, God appointed Joshua to lead his people. And God encouraged Joshua several times to be strong and courageous. Be incredibly brave today. God will be with you as you pray this prayer.
"Dear Father in Heaven, I need you now more than ever! I need you to remind me to be brave and strong. Give me the courage to face and overcome my challenges. I may not see you, but I know you're watching out for me. You are ahead of me, beside me, and behind me. I refuse to give up and be disheartened. I believe I was created for this day; I am a fortified city with an iron pillar and bronze walls that serve as pillars against the enemy. I will be still and completely understand that you are my God. "Amen."
