Giving to the poor is the best gift you can give to Jesus this Christmas (holiday) season. Also, remind them of Jesus' love and adoration for them.
The Bible in Isaiah
58:7 encourages us to share our food with the hungry and bring poor, homeless
people into our own homes. The Bible is replete with examples of God's love for
the poor. To be humans after God's heart, we must defend the motherless and
fatherless, feed the hungry, be generous to the poor, and proclaim to the poor,
"God loves you." As Christians, we have a responsibility to help one
another, but we are also called to help those who are less fortunate.
Giving to the needy and underprivileged is like lending to God, and God will
repay you by blessing you and your generation.
According to the Bible, we should give thanks and glory to God in everything we do. Gratefulness, in my opinion, is also one of the most valuable gifts we can give to our Savior. We should be grateful to God for all he has done for us because he is the source of everything we are, have, and will be and have in the future.
