Experiences of life, chapter 3

Many years ago, when I was doing grade 7, God compelled me to pen something that has remained in my mind until this day. I was a child, but I had a very clear revelation that came to my spirit. I didn’t know that God was literally preparing me to write this story (chapter) today.

It took me years and years, and that is why I always tell people who are close to me that God’s designed time is the best. I remember using my 3310 Nokia phone to write down everything that popped into my mind.

The Nokia 3310 didn’t have software such as Microsoft Office, but to be precise, that day I used SMS Passage or Folder to write an article. The article was so long, and my writing skills and grammar were very poor. And I wrote down: “Life is like a movie, and every part of the movie has a star, and stars don’t die or lose their sparkle in every part of the movie.”

In life, you have the right to determine who should direct you in this movie, which I refer to as life.  And I wrote down: “Life is like a book with many chapters, but we don’t know how many chapters we are left with. And our Lord Jesus Christ is the author of our book (referring to life); only he knows how many chapters we are left with...” I wrote a lot of articles but this one has never ever slipped my mind.

And sometimes when I think about it, I become very emotional because I was still a child. It is significant to know if you are a star or a typical person in this life. Consider yourself and your worth. When your life is directed by God, you’ll find yourself sleeping right through the storm. You’ll find yourself praising God in the middle of nowhere, because it’s no longer you living in the body, but Christ living in you. You are no longer in charge of your life because God is now in charge.

Enjoy every chapter by bringing happiness to your family, neighbors, colleagues, and friends. I don’t know a lot about you, but I perceive that you are a star, brightened by the glory of God. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise or the opposite. God wonderfully and fearfully created you to be his vessel. When a person reads a book, he normally skips every page he reads and focuses on the next page (next chapter).

Be encouraged by focusing more on what the next chapter of your life holds than on your past. To make things easier, God is asking you to be part of his family and to be part of the movie that he has designed. He is asking you to trust him as the director of your life, and remember, stars don’t die because a movie should continue.

God reveals in order to redeem

The enemy you know is less persuasive than the enemy you don’t know. In most cases, God displays himself to us in dreams or in visions. So whenever God discloses it to you. He is warning you to take a step and to act upon what he revealed. One thing you should perceive is that your enemy is not your neighbor, sister, colleagues, etc. We only have one enemy, which is the devil. Satan is very manipulative and if you aren’t prayerful enough, you’ll end up falling in to his traps. The day you’ll understand, you’ll avoid despising them.

How to depend on Jesus

The things of this world cannot fill the empty space within us; only Christ can complete us. This embodies for us that we need Jesus more than anything else on this planet. God did not put us here to rely on ourselves, but to rely on him for everything. We can't survive without him, which is why the Bible cautions us not to rely on our own understanding, because our understanding can fail us and our hearts can lead us astray. Physically, we may appear to be capable of doing things on our own, but on the inside, we are slowly dying. I don’t know about you, but if you haven't yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, it’s not too late. The Bible encourages us in Jeremiah 33:3 that if we call on God, he will answer us and tell us things we don't know. God is waiting for your call today. He is waiting for you to come to him and ask him to show you the way. Here is a short prayer to seek God: Heavenly Father, please forgive me for all of my transgressions against

How do we allow our past to not define us

Even if you don't have everything together, rest certain that God sees you as his priceless possession. Your past does not define who you are today. In actuality, from a spiritual viewpoint, who you are today is not determined by your past. It might affect your thoughts, but it doesn't make you who you are. God proclaims our true identity: that we are made in His likeness and in His image, reflecting both the male and female facets of God (according to Genesis 1:26-27).
