Nature has four seasons, which are: summer, autumn, winter, and spring. When it's summer, we think of sunshine and warm weather, and when it's winter, we think of cold temperatures. Just as there are four distinct seasons in nature, there also seem to be several spiritual seasons in our lives. God’s Word uses the seasons as a metaphor for biblical living because life is not constant.
When we fail to recognize and understand the season we are in, we can occasionally find ourselves perplexed and trapped in issues that completely devastate us.
The challenges of life can sometimes make us feel as though they are too much to bear. It occasionally occurs to serve as a sign that we have entered a new stage of life. A change in the seasons is not evidence that you are a good or bad person or that you did something dreadful. For your faith to mature and your connection with God to deepen, you must recognize the spiritual season you are in. King Solomon was a man filled to the brim with wisdom and knowledge, and in the Book of Ecclesiastes 3:1, he authored, "To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven."
Genesis 8:22 says, "As long as the earth remains, there will be springtime and harvest, winter and summer, day and night." This message keeps reminding us that there will always be stages and seasons in our lives. Whether it’s Jesus’s parable of the fig tree in Matthew 24:3, the different seasons blending into each other represent the constant change of season in our lives.
